Our Top 6 Handmade Soaps

March 4th 2015

Recently we asked ourselves the question "What are the six most popular bars we make?"  A quick check of the archives gave us the answer but that just raised another question. Why are these six the most popular?  I talk with you, my clients, every day of the week and get to know what you like so here's my take on the top six:

Lemongrass, Lime & Lemon Myrtle - this essential oil blend is beautifully balanced. The sweetness of the Lime, perfectly complements the sharp tanginess of the Lemongrass and Lemon Myrtle. This bar is equally loved by both men and women, so it makes the perfect unisex choice for everyone to enjoy.

Unscented Goats Milk - this bar is the 'go to' bar for people with sensitive skin. Unscented and uncoloured, this bar can be trusted to gently cleanse delicate skin.

Geranium & Patchouli Goats Milk - This gentle goats milk bar is decidedly feminine.  The floral and exotic scent lingers beautifully on the skin.

Rose Geranium & Palmarosa Goats Milk -  Soft and romantic, Rose Geranium is the best way for those people who demand 100% natural to enjoy the scent of roses (as virtually all rose scented body products are made with synthetic fragrance).

Lemon Myrtle & Patchouli - This scent is relatively new to the range, yet it has skyrocketed into the top six very quickly.  This is another scent blend loved by both men and women, with Patchouli adding sensual interest to the fresh scent of Lemon Myrtle.

Men's Grooming Bar - Cedarwood & Spice - To be honest, I didn't expect to see a men's bar pop up in the top six, but the numbers don't lie. Recent research in Japan has revealed that many 'forest' essential oils seem to lower perceived stress and increase natural killer (NK) cells that helps us fight disease.  It gives us great satisfaction to know that we've successfully created a bar for shaving, shampooing and showering all in one. If we can help lower stress too, that is a wonderful bonus.
