Low Allergy Soap - Goat's Milk And Olive Oil

If you or someone you love suffers allergies, you'll know how difficult it is to find a gentle cleansing product that doesn't contain allergens such as perfume, nut oils, sulphates, preservatives and synthetic detergent.

This formula started out as a custom order for a little boy with multiple allergies. His Mum wanted a fresh goat's milk bar made on olive oil only.

We're guessing you're used to reading the fine print, so we hope you won't mind us providing some technical information to help you understand this product.

1) This soap is made by slowly combining fresh goat's milk with sodium hydroxide and olive oil - nothing else. There is NO sodium hydroxide in the finished soap - it is completely neutralised when it breaks down the olive oil into sodium (soap) and glycerol (natural vegetable glycerin) to create a pure, gentle cleansing bar.

2) Soap made with just olive oil and goat's milk will not be as super-hard as the commercial soap you'll find in supermarkets. Our soaps are well cured, so they will be quite hard and you'll just need to make sure you drain them well between use to allow them to dry out. You could also try cutting the bar in half, as we've found smaller bars dry well and the other half is nice and dry to use later.

This is the most pure, gentle bar we could possibly make and we certainly hope that it alleviates some of the frustration of living with allergies.
